As we lovingly remember our Mammy, Tara Rowan, coming up to her first anniversary, we her children Liam, Luke, Kellie and Conor, her brothers Cronan and Michael, her nieces Laura, Sinead, Grace, and Kaydi, her nephew James and her sister-in-law Jo Ann, would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to our close family members, extended family, amazing friends, and neighbours who sympathised and continue to support us in our time of loss and grief.
We would like to thank all those who attended Mammy’s funeral, especially those who travelled long distances, those who sent floral tributes, mass cards, letters, online condolences, and phone calls. We really appreciate it. We would especially like to thank all who gave food, money, vouchers and fuel, your generosity did not go unnoticed at that difficult time and we’ll be forever grateful for the kindness shown to us.
To our father, Con, we thank you for supporting us through this very hard time. We’re forever grateful for your love, support and continued guidance.
To Fr. Lorcan for the beautiful funeral mass, we would have been lost without you.
To Martin Delaney for the lovely music and everyone else who took part in the Mass, which we feel contributed in a fitting tribute to Mammy’s life.
To Paddy, Donal, and William Tierney of Tierney’s Funeral Directors, we thank you all so much for your kindness, guidance, professionalism, and support.
To the First Responders/Roscrea Fire Brigade/Gardai who did all they could for our Mammy, we sincerely thank you.
Lastly, we would like to give thanks to Jim McDonnell and all at Roscrea GAA and Roscrea Rugby Club for performing the Guard of Honour at the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Although she left a void that will never be filled, her legacy lives on through her family and friends but especially her children.
We love you forever Mammy.
You’re simply the best.
Tara’s first anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday, the 1st of November at 6:30pm in St. Cronan’s Church, Roscrea.
