Archer, Teresa (née Kilkelly), New Line, Athenry, Co. Galway (formerly of Kinvara) who passed away on 2nd January 2023.

Teresa's husband and family wish to express their sincere thanks for the outpouring of support, Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters, phone calls and personal visits during the sad time following Teresa’s unexpected passing. Thank you to all who attended the removal and Funeral Mass and to her former CWO colleagues who formed the Guard of Honour. We are indebted to the many people who willingly helped us through the last weeks of Teresa’s long and well lived life. To all our neighbours on New Line, past and present, who walked with Teresa on her last journey, we thank you for lighting her way home. We especially thank Anne and Ned Waldron, our lifelong neighbours and cherished friends who continue to be there for our family.  

Our thanks to Dr. Philip O’Grady and the staff of the Health Centre Athenry, St. Finbarr’s Ward UHG and Crannog’s Unit in St. Brendan’s Loughrea, and to Declan Coyle and his staff in Kelly’s Pharmacy. We very much appreciate the help of Martina and Gaynor from Bluebird Care and the Public Health team from Athenry PCCC who helped Teresa during her last weeks. Thank you to those who thoughtfully brought food to the house. We appreciate the support and sensitivity of the paramedics Joy and Catherine and Guard Arlene who attended our home that morning.

 The dedicated care of Michael John and Siobhan Quinn of MJ Quinn Funeral Directors was a huge help and comfort. We thank our neighbour Fr Benny McHale for his pastoral visits and for officiating at the funeral services. Thank you also to Fr. Brendan Kilcoyne. The beautiful music provided by Harry Monson, Pat Naughton and Colga Coye, along with Aidan and Tony, made the funeral Mass so personal and we are deeply grateful to you all. We appreciate the exceptional care given by Lester, Maria and the staff of the Raheen Woods Hotel who ensured we were so well looked after. 

We are grateful for every expression of support and sympathy from the Kilkelly and Archer families, all our friends, neighbours and work colleagues.
