As we lovingly remember Teresa on her 1st Anniversary, we her family wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our relatives, neighbours and friends for their generous support, kindness and sympathy during her illness and following our sad loss.
We wish to thank all the people who visited the house, attended the funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass and sympathy cards and messages of condolence. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Thank you to Dr. Gillian Lalor, Dr. John Farrell and all the staff at Market Yard Medial Centre for your excellent care over many years. The Public Health Nursing team also provided wonderful attention on a frequent basis and we are forever grateful to you all, most especially to Liz and Anne-Marie. Thank you also to Dermot O’Brien and all his pharmacy staff for your helpfulness and courtesy at all times.
Teresa’s wish to remain in her own home during her final illness was facilitated in no small way by the Home Care assistance that was provided. Her days were filled with good humour, chat and fun by her carers, especially by Bernie, Catherine and Joan.
A special thanks to Fr. Peter Cullen for visiting the house, administering the last rites and celebrating the funeral Mass. We are also very grateful to Fr. Jack Meade, Fr. Matt Knight, Fr. Pat Kiernan, Fr. Bobby Fletcher and Fr. James Purcell for their presence at the funeral.
Thank you to all who provided refreshments for the funeral, to Noel O’Donnell and staff at Woodview Service Station, to Teresa and staff at Applegreen and to David and staff in Cahir House Hotel.
We would like to express our gratitude to Liam, Patti and staff at Costigan’s Undertakers for your professionalism, compassionate guidance and kindness to us as a family. Thanks also to Gillian Scully and her accompanist who provided beautiful music.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.
The First Anniversary Mass for Teresa will be held on Saturday, 28th October, at 6pm in St. Mary’s Church, Cahir.
