Leonard, Therese (nee Hynes)

The family of the late Therese Leonard wish to express sincerest thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to those who travelled to attend the funeral, who called to our family home, contacted us, sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended the funeral service, or helped in any way. To all of our friends and neighbours and former work colleagues in W5, thanks for all help, support and kindness.

Special thanks to Fr. Gerard McCloskey for conducting the funeral service and for his kind words about Therese. Thanks to the wonderful musicians for providing music which was so fitting. To the funeral directors, O'Kane's, for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

To all the doctors, nurses and staff in Royal Victoria and Belfast City Hospitals and the wonderful, dedicated, palliative and community nursing teams for the truly professional, kindly-given, medical and personal care shown to Therese throughout her long illness.

We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

Therese's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 31st March at 7.30pm in St Gerard's Church, Antrim Road, Belfast.
