First Anniversary

In loving memory of my brother Thomas whose  First anniversary occurs on 19th of February 2026.

Deeply loved, sadly missed and always remembered by your brother John, Shirley, your nieces&nephews and your grand nieces & nephews. 

It’s been a year since Heaven gained you,

And I still turn around sometimes,

Expecting to hear that loud, unforgettable laugh

Filling the room before you even walked in.

Your laugh was chaos and comfort all at once —

Too loud, too bold, too you.

Now the silence feels heavier,

Because nothing sounds the same without it.

I miss the way you made ordinary days brighter,

The way your laugh could pull me out of anything.

A year has passed,

But my heart still listens for you.

I hope Heaven echoes with your laughter,

The way our home once did.

Until I hear it again,

I’ll carry the sound of you with me — always. 🤍
