Tom’s wife Úna, daughters Bríd-Marie, Angela, Niamh, Maura, Carmel & all our family would like to express our most heartfelt thanks for the kindness, compassion & support shown to us throughout Tom’s funeral & during the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited our home, attended Tom’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared kind messages & happy memories online & all those who couldn’t be present but joined us via webcam or kept us in their thoughts & prayers.
Our heartfelt thanks to our extended families, our colleagues, our neighbours & dear friends.
Special thanks to Fr Padraig Ó’Cochláin for such a lovely celebration of Tom’s life, to Lucy Carolan & Rosarie Kinsella for such lovely music & to Fr David Brough for his graveside prayers.
We will be forever grateful to those who brought comfort, dignity & care to Tom’s final months, to Eddie, Margaret, Geraldine, Catherine & Mary from Arklow Home Help Services, the nurses at Arklow Health Centre & to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Thanks also to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Tom’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 6th November at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam
