Tom’s wife Josephine, daughters Antoinette, Sineád, Niamh & Joy, along with their partners, wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with & supported us on our recent loss and in the weeks since. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the Funeral Home, attended the Removal and Funeral Mass, sent messages, Mass cards & letters, travelled long distances to be with us, all who accompanied Tom to Mount Jerome Crematorium, all who made generous donations to Arklow RNLI & those who could not be with us, but joined us by webcam, thank you. The dignity and respect shown to our family throughout this sad occasion will always remain with us.
Sincere thanks to Fr. Martin Paravookaran for celebrating such a beautiful Funeral Mass and Fr. Michael Murtagh for his prayers at Mount Jerome Crematorium, you both gave such comfort to our family at this difficult time. Our sincere thanks to Lisa & Rosarii for the beautiful music.
We extend our grateful appreciation to the caring staff at Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home who went above and beyond for Tom during his final year.
Words cannot express our gratitude to Hudson Funeral Directors. The kindness, support and attention to detail shown by Helena is beyond measure. Thank you to The Arklow Bay Hotel, our dear friends Edel and ‘the Alices’, who helped cater for the family and The Old Ship for their hospitality, The Revival Gospel Choir for the guard of honour and the local businesses on the Main Street for their mark of respect on the day.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Tom’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 16th February at 11.30am in The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam.
