Remembering my Granda Tim, whose 87th birthday occurs today, the 6th of August. 

Today always meant so much to us

Now it only brings me tears

I wish God could have spared you 

For a few more years 

I'm thinking of you today Granda 

I know that's nothing new 

You were my thoughts of yesterday 

And you'll be in tomorrows, too

The memories I'll cherish forever 

They always make me smile 

I just wish I could hold you close again 

If only for awhile

But until that day we unite 

We'll no longer be apart 

But until that day remember Granda

You're always in my heart.
