The family of the late Tom Mahon of Bolton Hill, Moone, Co. Kildare who died on 27th December 2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

 

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.

 

A special word of thanks to Castledermot First Responders and the emergency services who attended the house on the morning of Tom's passing. A special thanks to Fr. Francis McCarthy, Fr. Bill O' Shaughnessy, Fr. Vincent Dempsey, Br. Francis of Bolton Abbey and the pastoral team of Moone Church who were involved in making the funeral mass so special. Sincere thanks to Michael English and Kayla Kissane for the beautiful singing that made the ceremony so special. 

 

To the whole community of Moone who provided refreshments in the community hall, to those who assisted with traffic management and anyone who gave their time and helped in any way throughout the duration of the funeral, we are truly grateful. 

 

A huge thank you to Halligan Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of the arrangements and for their kindness during this difficult time. 

 

Many thanks to Tom's colleagues at Topline Hardware for their guard of honour and support to our family at this sad time. 

 

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

 

The Months Mind Mass for Tom will be held on Sunday 26th January at 12pm in The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Moone. All are welcome.
