TOMMY HAYES

The family of the late Tommy Hayes, who passed away on the 16th of September, 2022, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our family and friends near and far, and all who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss, to everyone who attended the funeral, those who travelled long distances to be with us, to all those who called to the house, sent flowers and cards and to those people who left endless supplies of food at the door, for all the phone calls, cards, letters and messages of sympathy and condolences online.

We would also like to thank the Paramedics and staff at both Mallow General Hospital and Cork University Hospital who did their best to look after Tommy.

We would also like to extend a very genuine thank you to Fr. Tommy Lane for his help and guidance through this difficult time. Thanks also to Ann Luddy for the beautiful music and songs and to the students of the Patrician Academy Mallow for the Guard of Honour.

Thank you to O’Connell’s Funeral Home for the professionalism and kindness shown to us during this most difficult time.

We would also like to thank all Tommy’s close friends and Alison’s friends, all our families, friends and neighbours for their love and continued support, and a huge thank you to all the special ladies who turned up and made endless cups of tea and coffee for all our visitors. Thank you also to Kieran Horgan and the Arches Bar for their professionalism and kindness.

Tommy’s 1st Anniversary Mass will be held on Saturday, the 16th September, 2023 at 7.30 p.m. in the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.  Mass will be offered for your kind intentions.
