The family of the late Una O’Connor (née Carolan), Highfield, Drogheda, who passed away peacefully on Friday, 2nd May, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss.

 

We are deeply grateful for the phone calls, messages, letters, Mass cards, floral tributes, and online condolences left on RIP.ie. Your kind words and support have been a great comfort to us.

 

A special word of thanks to the wonderful staff of Sunhill Nursing Home for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Una during her final weeks. We are also deeply appreciative of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

 

We would like to thank Una’s carers for their dedication, compassion and support, especially Carol, Layla, Eunice, Idaiani, Olaitan, Weronika, Jane, and Jackie.

 

Thank you to our neighbours, friends and extended family for your kindness and presence during this time. We are especially grateful to those who attended Una’s removal, funeral Mass, or burial, and to those who travelled long distances to be with us.

 

We also wish to extend our sincere thanks to Townley & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism and support in arranging Una’s funeral with such care.

 

Thank you to Fr. John, who celebrated Una’s Funeral Mass, and to Rosemary, whose singing added so much to the ceremony.

 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

 

Una’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday, 1st June at 12.00 noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Ballsgrove.
