We, the family of the late Vera Cummins (nèe Howlin) of 37 Abbey Court, Fr. Russell Road, Limerick who died on the 7th of August 2022, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many extended family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and well-wishers who visited her home, attended the wake, service and burial in those very difficult days and who provided emotional and practical support for us in so many ways. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Tom Carroll and Fr. Liam Enright for the beautiful mass along with their caring support and guidance through this very tough time.
We would like to thank the staff at Milford and the night nursing staff at the Irish Cancer Society for their enormous effort and endless support, friendship, care and compassion at such a vunerable time for Vera and her family.
Thank you to those who travelled, lined the streets, filled the church and supported and sang with us at the graveyard but most of all for being there in these strange and trying times.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
The Months Mind Mass for Vera will be held on Sunday, the 18th of September, at 12.30pm in St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue, Limerick. All welcome.
