Who passed away suddenly, on Thursday 25th March, surrounded by her loving family.

Sadly missed by her husband Michael, daughter Sharon, son Dermot, sisters Kathleen, Nora and brother Michael, grandchildren Mikayla, Eimear, Jane and Diarmuid and her extended family and friends. 

 

We wish to express our heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss, to those who left messages of condolences, made phone calls, sent texts, letters, Mass Cards or flowers, it was much appreciated and extremely thoughtful.

A special thank you to all our neighbours and friends who, in line with Covid regulations, lined the streets along the way to St. Mary Church, Vera would have been touched by your kindness.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Michael Clarke and the Ambulance Team who attended Vera on the morning of her passing and also to Ciaran Conway and the Staff of The Corner Pharmacy who always looked after Vera so well.

We would also like to thank Fr. Adrian Walsh for the beautiful Mass he conducted, it was exactly what Vera would have wanted, we thank Marie Fox and Martin McAllister for the beautiful music in the chapel and to all those who travelled to Lakelands Crematorium where Vera's final journey came to an end.

Thank you so much Conor Hughes and Joe Smith for the professionalism and courtesy shown to us over the funeral period and for the dignified send-off you afforded to her.

We would also like to thank Aisling Duffy, Liz Coleman and family for helping look after us all during those difficult days and who are still looking after us, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Vera’s Month's Memory Mass will be held, via webcam, on Saturday, 24th April, at 10am from St. Mary’s Chapel, Castleblayney.
