Vera’s sons Martin, Cormac & Brian, daughters Áine, Catherine, Aisling, Deirdre & Geraldine, her sister Catherine & all her family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support shown to us at the time of Vera’s sad passing & throughout the weeks since.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our home, attended Vera’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent cards, texts & floral tributes, all those who travelled long distances, those who couldn’t be present but joined us via webcam & all those who shared comforting words & happy memories online.

Thank you to Dr Frank Callan & all the team at Maryville Surgery, to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, to Juvi, Vera’s wonderful companion for the past five years, & to the carers from Arklow Home Help Services who helped look after Vera with gentle dignity in the comfort of her own home.

Special thanks to Fr. David Brough for his beautiful funeral Mass & to Lucy Carolan & Rosarie Kinsella for their lovely music.

Thanks to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe & Tommy from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

Vera’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 20th November at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam
