Peter, Sharon, Miceal and the Sheenan family would like to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all those who comforted and supported us in our recent loss of our beloved Mum, Vera.

Thank you to everyone who came to our home to express their sympathy and support, those who posted condolences on RIP.ie and on social media, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, phoned and sent messages. We would like to thank family, friends and neighbours who were there for us, helping and supporting us during the wake and to those who brought food and refreshments to our home, who made endless cups of tea and assisted with parking. We appreciate your time and generosity.

A sincere thanks to Fr. Gerry who celebrated Mum’s mass and visited our home giving us all comfort and support. Thank you to Bishop Michael Router and Fr. Sean Henry for attending our home and saying prayers. Thank you to Dr. John MacMahon, Dr. Heather McCullagh and the staff at Kingscourt surgery, David McNally and staff at McNally’s Pharmacy for providing care and comfort to Mum over many years. A special thanks to Colm Kieran Funeral Director who arranged Mum’s funeral in such a caring and professional manner. We would also like to thank Ann and the choir for the beautiful music at Mum’s funeral. Thank you to the Eucharist Ministers, Sacristan and Gravediggers for their dignified care and help.

Thank you to Gym An Ri and Kingscourt Handball Club for Mum’s Guard of Honour. We are forever grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to our family in our time of mourning, it will never be forgotten. It’s impossible to thank each and everyone whose kindness and generosity of spirit has brought comfort to us all at this difficult time.
