As we lovingly remember Gerard on his 1st Anniversary, Mary, Noreen and Pat wish to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness and support shown to us during our bereavement. 

We were greatly comforted by all who contacted us, sent condolences, Mass cards and by the kind words and actions following the death of our much loved brother Gerard. A special mention to his former parishioners of Muintir Bhaire whose support and kindness meant the world to him. 

A heartfelt thanks to Dr Derek Power and all staff of GB Ward CUH, The West Cork Palliative team and Dr Yvonne Hayes who treated Gerard with such dignity and kindness throughout his illness. 

A special word of thanks to Fr Joe Coughlan for his guidance and for celebrating such a meaningful funeral Mass. We extend our deep appreciation to his dear friend, Rev. Ann Skuse for delivering such a special eulogy. Thank you to Fr. Hickey and fellow priests who concelebrated[ and also to Bishop Gavin. To Kieran Clifford for the music and the Timoleague Choir and finally to his friend and undertaker, Charlie Sullivan and staff, for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
