 Vincent Lynch

Cloncurrin, Clones, Monaghan

The family of the late Vincent Lynch of Cloncurrin,Clones, Co. Monaghan, who died on the 5th September, 2022, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful. Thank you so much to Doli and Kathleen for keeping the tea flowing.

We wish to thank everyone who gave their time and support on the day of the funeral, especially the following: Fr. Corragain, for his prayers and celebration of Mass; Angela McCabe and Joanne Enright for being braver than us and kindly saying the readings and prayers; pall bearers Eugene and Damien Courtney, Dwayne Rao and Martin Smyth; Marie Fox for the beautiful hymns; the grave diggers for preparing Vincent's final resting place; Fabiola Martin (Funeral Director) for her compassionate support and professionalism throughout. A special thanks, too, to Peter McClave and his staff at the Round Tower Bar for their hospitality and wonderful refreshments after the service.

We also wish to express our gratitude to Dr Seamus Clarke and all of the Clones Public Health Nurses for their years of dedicated care to Vincent in his times of need. Thank you, also, to the Medical, Nursing and Care staff of Medical Two and the Palliative Care Team of Cavan General Hospital for their gentle care in Vincent's final days.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The Month's Mind Mass for Vincent will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 in St Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan. All welcome.
