Wayne's heartbroken wife Emma, sons Odhrán and Oisín, parents Peter and Anne, brother Garreth and sister Christina along with all his extended family wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the kindness, love, sympathy, generosity and support we received during our recent bereavement.

We extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised personally from our home, at the chapel and in the graveyard. To all who travelled from near and far to attend Wayne's wake and funeral. A special thanks to everyone who sent Mass and sympathy cards, messages, posted online, phone calls, text messages, floral tributes and to those who could not personally attend but joined us via the webcam. We found great comfort in the kind words spoken and fond memories of those who know Wayne. Also to all those who kindly donated to Save Our Homeless Dundalk.

A heartfelt thanks to Padraig and Catriona Longeran of Lonergan Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross, for their exceptional and professional care, empathy, compassion and sensitive handling of all of the arrangements for Wayne's funeral. A special word of thanks and appreciation also to Glyn Tallon of Tallon Mortuary Specialists. We will be forever grateful to both of these professional services.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our wonderful neighbours in Stabannon and surrounding areas, to our relatives and friends for the unbelievable generosity and support given to us. To everyone who provided and helped out in anyway we are extremely grateful.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks and appreciation to all who provided a guard of honour at the school and the football field to welcome Wayne home to Stabannon. Also to the neighbours who lined the road as Wayne made his final journey home to Radharc na Sléibhte.

We would like to thank Fr. Anselm Emechebe for a beautiful Mass to celebrate Wayne's life. A special word of thanks to all family and friends who participated in the funeral Mass. We would like to thank Deirdre Macklin and Grace Mc Cooey who provided beautiful music throughout Wayne's Mass. A special word of appreciation to Ciarán Shevlin, Wayne's friend, for the beautiful music upon arriving at the church and at the graveyard.

To the Stabannon Parnells Football Club for the guard of honour the day of Wayne's funeral, for assisting with directing traffic throughout and arranging car parking.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually,  please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere and genuine appreciation, gratitude and thanks to everyone.

Wayne will be forever missed and loved beyond words by his heartbroken family.
