The heartbroken family of the late Wiktor Samp would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, compassion & support shown to them throughout Wiktor’s illness, at the time of his sad passing & in the weeks since.

Very special thanks to those of you who were in a position to come & pay your respects & equally to those of you who stayed away, but kept us in your thoughts & prayers, to all who joined in the celebration of Wiktor’s funeral Mass via the parish webcam & to all who sent Mass cards & floral tributes.

To Wiktor’s many friends from Arklow & Charleville, we thank you for the numerous ways in which you paid tribute to him with your personal messages & your fantastic song. We would like to thank Arklow United Football Club for their lovely guard of honour and we would like to thank Charleville AFC for their presentation of the jersey and their thoughtfulness in lowering the flag in Wiktor’s memory.

Our sincere thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses & staff of Mercy Hospital, Cork & Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin for their great care. A special thank you to Dr Ann Rafferty of Dr Molloy’s Surgery.

Heartfelt thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
