Bill’s son Liam, sisters Linda and Rose, brother Matt and all his family would like to extend their most heartfelt appreciation for the many ways in which they were supported through the sad loss of a beloved father and brother.
Thank you to all those who visited the Funeral Home, to those who attended Bill’s removal, Funeral Mass and cremation service, those who sent Mass cards, text messages or shared happy memories and warm wishes online and all those who donated generously to Arklow Lifeboat in Bill’s memory;
Thank you to Dr. Foster and his team at Harbour Road Surgery and to the wonderful management and staff of Asgard Lodge which has been home to Bill for the past number of months.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Padraig Ó’Cochláin for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Karla Tracey and Bridget Kenny for their lovely music. A big thank you to Bill’s nephew Ronan for performing at his cremation service, and for mastering Bill’s all-time favourite – Red River Valley. He would have been so proud.
Thank you to our extended families, our kind neighbours and dear friends, old and new, your continued kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to the management and staff of Peggy Kelly’s and The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Alan Massey & his team at Mount Jerome Crematorium and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Bill’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 8th November at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church.
