Bill’s wife Carmel, son Greg, daughter Zoe & all our family wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered sympathy & support throughout our recent sad loss.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Bill’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebration of Bill’s life via webcam.
Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital who cared for Bill throughout his final hours.
Our thanks to Fr. David Brough for his prayers, comforting guidance & beautiful funeral service & to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for such fabulous music.
To our extended family & our kind neighbours & friends, we thank you for your continued kindness.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Tom & Joe from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Bill’s Months’ Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 9th June at 11.30am in Sts Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
