Acknowledgement & First Anniversary 

As we lovingly remember Bill, whose first anniversary occurs on 15th June 2023, his wife Mary, sons, daughters, son in law, daughters in law and grandchildren wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and support we received following our devastating loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends,neighbours especially The O Sullivan Family and well wishers who visited our home, attended the Rosary and Burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences,we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Bills G.P. Dr. George O Mahony for all his help. To all the staff of the Urology Department in the Mercy University Hospital whom he held in such high regard. To his team of caregivers from Homeinstead Senior Care without whose help we would not have been able to keep dad at home. A special mention to Rachel whom dad had a soft spot for and enjoyed the banter in the mornings and also to Annette Twomney, dads personal barber (no one else would do) who he loved to see calling. Special thanks to Lee Cabs and especially Dermot who went out of his way many times to make sure all dad's transportation needs were always met.

A very special thank you to Sr. Marguerite and to Fr Greg Howard who visited dad regularly for a friendly chat and to administer The Holy Scarments.

We as a family would like to show our deepest appreciation to Fr. Greg Howard for a beautiful mass and sermon, who was also a great friend and old neighbour of ours. To O Connors Funeral Home North Gate Bridge for their professionalism, compassion and kindness thank you.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our devastating loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Bills anniversary mass will be held in St. Mary's On The Hill Church, Knocknaheeny on Saturday 17th June at 6pm. All welcome
