Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Billy’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards and letters, those who travelled long distances, all those who phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online & those who donated generously to St Colman’s Hospital https://gofund.me/3e99985d in Billy’s memory.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nick Buggle & his team at Sheltonville Surgery & to the wonderful caring staff of St. Colman’s, Rathdrum for the dignity & care they brought to Billy’s final years.

Special thanks to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers & funeral Mass & to Stephen Walker & Rosarie Kinsella for such beautiful music. A very special thank you to Billy’s godson Brian for his fabulous musical tributes.

Thanks also to Joe O’Toole for tending to the grave, to Sean & Geraldine Condren & their staff at The Old Ship for their hospitality & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors, especially Niamh for her professionalism & guidance throughout this sad & difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Billy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 10th July, at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam

Always smiling, always content;
Always so thoughtful, loving & kind,
Beautiful memories he has left behind.”
