The husband, sisters and family of the late Win Hassett would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.
We offer thanks to the many friends, relatives, neighbours, and colleagues who provided, and continue to provide, emotional and other support at this very difficult time. Covid 19 restrictions meant much of that support came through phone calls, cards and messages here on RIP.ie rather than through the traditional attendance at a funeral or wake. All support offered, whether in person, or from a distance helps at this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to her close friends and neighbours in Clane, and to the team from Home Instead whose kindness and respectful care helped keep Win safe at home ahead of her final necessary stay in Tallaght Hospital. Thank you also to the nurses, doctors and all the teams at Tallaght who cared for her so expertly in her final weeks.
To all who participated in the Mass, especially Fr Paul O’Boyle, her close friends and family who read prayers, and the wonderful singer, Catherine Nolan, and finally the funeral directors for their sensitive and professional handling of all necessary arrangements. Thanks also to the significant number of our friends and relatives who joined in the mass by watching the live stream. All participants helped us mark Win’s passing appropriately.
To those who helped or supported in any way, your gesture makes our loss more bearable. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement with our deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
