Anne Sullivan Foundation For People Who Are Deafblind

The Anne Sullivan Centre / Foundation, Silverpines, Brewery Road, Stillorgan, Dublin

Anne Sullivan Foundation for people who are deafblind is unique as the only organisation dedicated to working with people who are deafblind across Ireland.

Our mission is to enable the 13,635 (Central Statistics Office, 2016) people who are deafblind to live meaningful, active and fulfilling lives. We do this by providing residential, day, respite, outreach and advocacy services.

As people live longer, more people are acquiring deafblindness later in life. Also, with medical advances, there are better survival rates for premature babies, but this can sometimes be accompanied by deafblindness.

Therefore, overall the demand for our services is increasing and we need to fundraise continuously.
