Asthma Society of Ireland

42-43 Amiens Street, Dublin 1

The Asthma Society of Ireland’s mission is to stop asthma deaths in Ireland. We are the voice of the 450,000 people with asthma in Ireland, and our work radically transforms their quality of life. We fight asthma with every breath. Our vision is that everyone with asthma in Ireland lives a full life, symptom-free.

Asthma is a chronic disease but it can be controlled. Tragically, one person every 5 days dies from asthma and 90% of these deaths are preventable. Through the delivery of health information,  expertise and support, our programmes raise awareness of asthma and improve people’s ability to control their symptoms, reducing the likelihood of asthma attacks.

While we receive some state funding, we rely on the generous donations of people just like you - people who want to make sure that nobody in Ireland dies from asthma and instead everyone with asthma can live a full, active and healthy life.
