Cliona’s Foundation

Roselawn House,University Business Complex, National Technology Park, Limerick

Cliona’s Foundation provides nationwide financial assistance directly to parents of children with life-limiting or chronic complex care needs across Ireland to help with the non-medical expenses related to caring for their child.

These expenses include but are not limited to accommodation, food, transport, having to take time out of work, pay childminders to look after their other children and also have to purchase specialized equipment.

No other charity in Ireland offers financial support solely for non-medical costs which can amount to significant sums when families are completely blindsided by non-medical expenses while they struggle emotionally to care for their child .These costs are estimated at an additional €10,000 per annum.

Cliona’s Foundation  receives no state funding and relies 100% on income raised through a range of activities including  fundraising events,  corporate  & private donations and corporate partnerships.

Donate

Each year we rely on the generosity of the public to raise much needed funds to continue supporting families with critically ill children.

 A Gift in your Will

A gift no matter how small or large can have a huge impact on the lives of the many families of children with a  life limiting illness that are struggling to deal with the non -medical costs of caring for their child over a long period of time.

So if you are able to remember our work in your Will, you will ensure we can continue to provide support and financial assistance to some of the families of approx. 4,000 children in Ireland with a life limiting condition.
