CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young

The CRY Centre, Unit B14, Tallaght Cross West, Dublin 24, D24 R3HC

1/2
CRY Ireland was established in 2002 by parents and relatives who have experienced the effects of sudden and unexplained deaths within their families.

Our mission is to provide both access for families in Ireland, north and south, bereaved by the sudden cardiac death of a young person, to free screening and emotional support services, in an empathetic environment and to support research into the prevention of sudden cardiac death.

All services provided by CRY Ireland are free. CRY is a self-supporting registered charity. The bulk of the money we take in comes from various fundraising events.

The CRY Charity main objectives in the work that we do:

  • To provide free Clinical Assessment and Management to all families who have suffered, or are at risk of, a Sudden Cardiac Death.
  • To provide a Family Support Programme, offering free access to Listening Volunteers, Mentors and bereavement specialists.
  • To organize events and provide access to information and networks.
  • To support research into the causes and prevention of sudden cardiac death, in collaboration with other likeminded bodies.
  •

CRY is most grateful to accept contributions of any magnitude. We rely solely on the public support to meet our key objectives.
