The death has occurred of
Michael John Shinnick
Shinnick (Glanworth & Late of 44 Clancy Street, Fermoy) (Former Chief Scout of Scouting Ireland) Peacefully On April 10th 2016 in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Marymount Hospice, Cork. Michael John, Moneen, Glanworth, dearly beloved husband of Marian (née Ryan) and devoted father of Aoife and Emma. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marian, daughters Aoife and Emma, brother Brynley, Uncle Michael, sisters-in-law Cáit, Chrissie and Bernie, brothers-in-law Michael, Willie, Pat, Brendan and Pat, nieces Orla, Sinéad, Eimear and Éidín, extended family and members of his Scouting family.
May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home Moneen Glanworth on Tuesday, 12th April, from 3pm. Arriving at The Church of the Holy Cross, Glanworth at 2.30pm on Wednesday, 13th April, for Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to Kilcrumper New Cemetery, Fermoy.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Marymount Hospice, Cork or St Luke’s Hospital, Dublin.
