Parkes, Vera (Nee Mc Kevitt) (Arbour Place, Dublin 7) March 10th 2017 (peacefully) in her 97th Year in the care of the staff at The Mater Hospital: surrounded by her loving family; Loving wife of the late Frank, she will be sadly missed by her loving children, Betty, David, Fran, Rita and Patricia, sister Lena, sons-in-law; Hugh, Brian and Michael, daughters-in-law; Mary and Anne, brother-in-law Arthur, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, extended family, friends and carers.
Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen St, Dublin 7 on Monday from 10 o/c until 4o/c. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning in the Church of St. Mary of the Angels, Church St. at 11 o/c, with burial afterwards at Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to; The Mater Heart and Lung Transplant Unit.
