McCloskey, Aidan Anthony, on Tuesday 5th February 2019 at "Maoilinn", 9 Woodfield Drive, Ballynote, Kilrush, Co. Clare (V15Y318), and formerly of Caragh Ave., Caherdavin Park, Limerick & "Lismoyle", Shelbourne Ave., Limerick. Predeceased by his son Peter, Moveen East, Kilkee, his parents Jack & Mai and treasured Aunt Tino, brothers Joseph & St.John, sisters Anne & Moira. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Browne), two days before their 53rd Wedding Anniversary, Aidan died peacefully at home after a long illness in the loving company of his family and close friends. Dearly loved Father to Joseph (Kilkee), Aida & St.John (Sixmilebridge).

 

Adoring Grandfather to cherished Grandchildren Amy, Kate & Sarah, (Peter R.I.P.), Benjamin & Heather Hayes, (Aida) & Sarah, Jack & Mollie (St.John) and Great Grandson Nathan. Brother to Clement (Dublin) & Deirdre Dillon (Limerick). Deeply regretted by Joseph's Girlfriend Sinéad Gallagher (Sligo), his Son-in-law Paul Hayes and Daughter-in-law Anna. Brother-in-law to Joan, Paddy, Nora & John Noel.

 

Gentleman, Draper, Shoeman, Uncle, Cousin and above all friend. In celebration of a life lived with cheerfulness in spite of the ravages of illness over many years.

 

Reposing at his home in Kilrush on Thursday evening 7th February from 4.00 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. Arriving at St. Senan's Church, Kilrush on Friday 8th February for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon followed by burial in Kilcrona Cemetery, Carrigaholt. Flowers are welcome.
