Bernard (Barney) Hennessy

Bernard (Barney) Hennessy of 11 Willow Park, Tullow Rd., Carlow and formerly of St Killian’s Crescent and Whitney Place, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 1st, 2024, under the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at The District Hospital Carlow.

Beloved husband of the late Ina, much loved father of Brigid, John, Kathleen, and Olivia and cherished brother of Teresa and the late Lily, Marie and Sean.

He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

May Barney’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 3pm on Tuesday, September 3rd, concluding with Prayers that evening at 8pm. Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.30am to The Holy Family Church, Askea arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
