The death has occurred of
Bernie Fitzgerald
Unexpectedly but peacefully on 15th February 2026 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Eddie and Sadie Fitzgerald. Beloved partner of Greg, adored mother of Ciara, loving mother-in-law of Gary and devoted Nana of Tadhg and little angel Katie Grace. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing partner, daughter, son-in-law and grandson, her siblings Bebe, Noel, Kevin, Pauline, Deirdre, Edward, Michael, Nora, Geraldine, Carmel and Anne, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, her aunt Brenda, her furry friend Molly, her nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and many dear friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 4pm until 7pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30 to St.’s Mary and Peter’s Church arriving for Prayer Service at 11 o’clock, walking via Griffith Street. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;

Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, walking to The Nineteen Arches Bridge. Bernie’s committal service will be held at 1.45 in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome. This too can be viewed via webcam;
