The death has occurred of
Bert Murphy
Murphy (Grenagh) on the 17th of December 2023, peacefully, following a short illness; Bert, President of Grenagh GAA Club and formerly of Dairygold Mallow. Husband of the late Elmary, brother of the late Frances O’Riordan and Pat. Bert leaves behind his heartbroken children, Seán, Colum, Donncha, Ellen, Deirdre and Brendan-Ted. Sadly missed by his brothers Denis and Donal, brother-in-law Jerry, sister-in-law Anne, grandchildren Amy, Katie, Isobel, Abbie, Danny, Cian & Juliette, daughters-in-law Angela and Trina, Donncha’s partner Danielle, son-in-law Ger, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Lying in repose at O’ Connell’s Funeral Home, Mallow (Eircode P51HH61) on Wednesday December 20th from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass in St. Lachteen’s Church, Grenagh on Thursday December 21st at 2.30pm, which will be live-streamed on www.mycondolences.ie Funeral afterwards to St. Lachteen’s Cemetery, Grenagh.
