Billy Cashin

Tower Grove, New Ross, Wexford

Billy left this life peacefully on 1st September, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at the Oak Ward, UHW after an illness so courageously accepted.

 

Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Josie Cashin and granddaughter Olivia.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Breda, treasured daughters Gail and Gillian and their husbands Paul and Ger, adored granddaughters Rose and April.

 

Forever in the hearts of his brothers Murt, Ger, Nicholas, James, Eugene, Pat and Paul, sisters Breda, Maura, Joan, Margaret and Kathleen, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, New Ross (Y34 DK15) on Sunday 3rd September from 3pm concluding at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in St Mary's & Michael's Parish Church, New Ross, funeral Mass can be viewed live here, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium Garden Chapel at 2.15pm.

Billy's funeral cortege will walk to Tower Grove immediately after his funeral Mass

 

The family would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the wonderful care shown to Billy and his family in Ely Hospital and by Dr. Paula Calvert and staff on the Cherry Ward, together with the doctors, nurses and staff on the Oak Ward, South East Palliative Care Centre, University Hospital Waterford.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The South East Palliative Care Team at The Oak Ward U.H.W.
