The death has occurred of
BILLY MCCARTHY
McCarthy (Shamrock Lawn Douglas and formerly of Quaker Road). On November 29th, 2020 unexpectedly at Cork University Hospital, in the presence of this loving family, Billy, (late of Irish Shell and former President of Douglas GAA club, and a founder member of Douglas Writers Group), beloved husband and best friend of Teresa, loving father of Máire, Pádraig, Seán and Liam, adored grandfather to his eight grandchildren, dear brother of Kitty, Lily, Rita, John, Frances and the late Paddy and baby Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Kieran, daughters-in-law Christine, Una and Siân, relatives and friends especially the Hodnett family Barryroe and his cousin Paddy Joe in Florida.
May he rest in peace.
Funeral will take place privately in accordance with the government guidance.
Billy’s Requiem Mass will be streamed on Wednesday (2nd) at 11.30am via www.mycondolences.ie.
