Claire Shannon, Millmount Abbey, Drogheda, Co. Meath and formerly of Athlone, 2nd November 2021. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Claire, loving mom to Amy, Sally and Jack. Sadly missed by her loving children and their dad Robert, her parents Jim and Kay, sisters Sinead, Fionnuala, Niamh, Aisling and brother James, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncle, best friend Caroline, work colleagues, relatives and friends.

Claire will repose at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda on Thursday afternoon from 4 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, James’s Street, which can be viewed live on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie and will be followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 1.20 p.m which can be viewed live on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/dardistown/dardistown-chapel-webstreaming.html.  Funeral cortege will pass Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital at approx. 10.35am on route to St. Mary’s Church and will pass her Home at approx. 12noon on route to the Crematorium.
