We have so many fond memories of her taking us for walks up the Mardyke and Shandon Street . She was so kind, generous and caring and was always giving us advice on how to deal with a fast-changing world. She was funny and wise and we loved her. May she rest in peace.

I am so very sorry to hear of Rose's passing. I work in Ormond & Ahern back in the mid 50's to the mid 60's,Rose was in the shop she had a great way with the customers and love the chat,she had beautiful personality and always very pleasant to every one that came her way. I think Rose would be the last of the Ormond family in the shop on Shandon St. Happy days back then,May her gentle soul rest in the arms of the Lord.Billy O Brien

Mrs O'Riordan was the loveliest lady. I knew her through my work in UCC & later made the connection between my Granda who was a Confectioner & her family. That meant so much to us both. And that she met my Mam at Finbarr Wright a few years ago, when we made the connection. I am so sad to hear of Mrs O'Riordan's passing, I admired her greatly. My deepest sympathy to her family.
