I am very sad to hear of Aileen's passing. My thoughts are with her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart I only now learn of Aileen's death. She was a gorgeous person who I will miss greatly. We saw in the New Year together this year with not an inkling of what lay ahead. Such a wonderful pal and many is the great chat we had, setting the world to rights, over the years. Ails, I'm sorry it was 'your time'. You always used to say 'to cut a long story short'.. well your story was way too short, but no doubt you are flying high with the angels now. xx

I was so sorry to hear about Aileen's passing. She struggled with health issues in the last few years but was always ready with a smile during our 'pensioner meetups'. My deepest condolences to her sisters Rena & Vera, to her extended family & many friends. She will be missed. May she rest in the arms of the Angels.

Aileen's generosity of spirit, her warmth and her easy laughter made her a terrific asset in any company. I know Aileen through her closeness to my now deceased sister, both of whom were stalwarts of Dalkey Players. The prospect of just running into her in Dalkey gladdened the heart. She'd be up for anything.
