Shocked to hear of Alan’s sudden passing. I remember Alan always smiling and cracking jokes - usually bad ones (!!) - in his lovely soft Edinburgh accent. He was a great family man and his grandchildren were the icing on the cake! He was a big part of the Trocadero Family and we’ll always remember him with a smile! RIP Alan 🌻

My wife Helene and I are deeply saddened to hear of Alan's death. Our most sincere condolences to Patricia Louise and Andrew. His love for and pride in his family was often part of our conversation and I know he got great joy from being a grandfather. I hope the many years he had with his grandchildren can in time be of some comfort. In the many years I had knwn him, I always felt uplifted when we met : He had such a wry sense of humour and infectious smile .
