ALAN (PIMMY) PIM

My sincere condolences to Jeni, Robert and Jordan. So sorry to hear of Alan's passing. He was such a warm kind wise person, I know you will all miss him greatly. Thinking of all the Pim family at this time and remembering Nigel and Sue.

Pimmy , you will be missed but never forgotten. The mark you left on many pupils over the years will live on as your legacy. Always encouraging us to learn, listen, share, excel and to help others. But most of all the fond memories you leave us with from the classrooms, dorms, swimming pool, sports track and of course detentions (I did a few!). RIP.

A life so well lived while sharing your unending knowledge with so many of us during our time at Newtown and beyond. Sleep in peace you wonderful educator.

Alan was such a remarkable man in so many ways whose life story reads like an odyssey. Age did not diminish his spirit and love of activity and I remember when he and Sue were among us early morning swimmers in Splashworld. Happy to have known him!
