Condolences to the Connolly and O'Hanlon families on the death of Alice and what a great long life she had! Alice and Paddy ran a 'Youth Encounter' course for a group of us in our late teens (late 1970s) which was a fantastic forum to talk openly and share our worries and anxieties. The experience had a positive impact on me and I'm sure for others who attended. This was years before young people were encouraged to talk about their feelings. In this and in other aspects of their lives in our community they were visionary leaders. May Alice rest in peace.
