Thinking of all O'Flynn's at this very sad time. Sending you all my love from Portugal. I am so sad to learn that Ann has passed on and no doubt her spirit will always live on. Growing up in Carrigmore has many memories but one of my favourites was getting the jam sandwiches from Ann and sitting on the tiny wall at the end garden happy out with all the gang. The O'Flynn's door was always open and you were always welcome. Ann was such a beautiful person and full of life, I always enjoyed bumping into her throughout the years, she always had time for a chat. We will miss your warm heart Ann but your smile will live on through all your beautiful children and grandchildren. Rest well Ann, may you reunite with Kevin and watch over us now and always. It was an honour to know you. May you reach enlightenment through your devotion and may all your prayers be answered.

Oh Ann what a character you were.
Many happy days we had in Academy Street when you would have us all roaring laughing but could also " give us our pedigree" too when us young ones needed manners put back on us! The mammy of all of us, we would break bread at lunch and talk about everything from politics to brown bread recipes but what i remember most about those days is the laughing we all did together and you were always the culprit with your quick wit and funny way of saying things.
Our favourite days were the days "Ann O'Flynn" was in.
You were a wonderful woman and you thought me a lot when i first started in The Cork Examiner as it was known back then. I will always hold those memories close to my heart.
Rest now and I wish you peace and love.
