So sorry to hear the sad news about Anne Garvey thinking of her Family at this sad time Anne was a great Principle and Teacher to my Daughter and my Sister in Christ The King Girls School we still talk about the great times we had there also myself as a Classroom Assistant and my Mother who was a cleaner in the school and i will never forget Anne's kindness to my Mother back in the days May You Rest In Peace Anne 🙏 🕯💔

Thinking of all her family and loved ones at this very sad time. I have very fond memories of Mrs Garvey as our teacher and principal in Christ the King school. Too many stories to recall, but she was someone who was always fondly remembered and respected.
May she rest in peace.

Anne Garvey possessed a keen intellect and appreciated a quick wit. Her love of culture, interest in politics and knowledge of literature were truly admirable. She had a generous disposition and the dignity and fortitude with which she endured her illness is remarkable and testament to her strength of character.
Sincere condolences to Ronan, Aonghus and Eire, to Margaret and Phil and Anne's extended family on the death of a much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and condolences also to all who mourn Anne. Anne had encyclopedic knowledge when it came to quizzes, crosswords, current affairs etc. and was a privilege to know. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Brendan.

Ronan I am so sorry to hear about your lovely mother. I use to always enquire about her when I visited the hotel in Liscannor.

I met her many times at the Xmas drinks in Phil’s house. She was such an interesting person to talk to. She had a great interest in the theatre and concert hall. May she RIP
