so sorry to hear of Anne' s death only yesterday the day she has been laid to Rest in Peace 🙏 sincere sympathy to her family and close friends she will sadly missed around Shankill

We were so sad to hear Anne was not well, and then to hear she passed on was such a shock. Shankill won't be the same without her lovely smile, warm personality, kindness to everyone she met and her great wit - she would make you laugh even if you were trying to be serious. So very sorry for her family and all her loved ones.

To Dan and the entire Grant family. Please except our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved mum.

I have fond memories of her collecting both Harry and Zoe at Little Eaton and loved all the chats I had with her then, and over the subsequent years at St Anne’s.

She was so very very proud of her children and her grandchildren. May she now rest in peace

I will be with you in spirit, celebrating Mass here in Hastings at the same time as her funeral in St. Anne's. What a great loss she is. The bed of heaven to her, the rest she deserves and freedom from suffering. God bless.

My journey with this lovely woman began in childhood, when she used to look after me for my mum. Anne was the only one I’d stay with, and from there, our bond just grew stronger as she watched me grow into the mum I am today.

Anne always had such kind words of encouragement, offered gentle guidance, and always made time for a good chat. When we bought a place down in one of her favourite spots, we shared so many lovely moments—talking and strolling along the beach.

Hearing of her passing has truly left a hole in my heart. Anne was like a second mum to me, and I know to many others too. She was always so warm and welcoming whenever we met.

She will be deeply missed, but I’m so grateful to have known her and to have been part of her life.
May she rest peacefully.
