What a lovely man. I’ve known Tony & his late wife Alice since I was a child in the early 1960s. My brothers JohnM, Morgan & I were regularly asked in to their house in Friar Street to play with their young sons (babies!) Micheál & Jim. Tony & Alice were a great couple and gave so much of their energy, skills and time to our community. Well done, good and faithful servants.

Where do I even begin.

What an absolute Legend of a man whom I’ve known since childhood, he was a close family friend and an amazing support throughout the years. He was my vice principal in the Tec and kept me out of trouble at those years too. A fantastic story teller whom I loved to visit every time I was back in the country and a beacon of joy that will be sorely missed.

My condolences go out to Edel and Jim and the ready of the family.
