I watched the beautiful funeral Mass of my Auntie Bertie yesterday, on my computer. Like her son Shane and his family, I couldn't be present because of Covid.

I sent a LONG condolence message yesterday and again today, when I realised that the first one didn't "go"

I now think it was because of the length - both was certainly longer than 1500 words !!

I will keep this one SHORT.

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to Shane, Marina, Jimmy, Mona and their respective spouses and families, on the death of Bertie. May her soul rest in peace and may God grant all of you the grace to cope with her death.
Bertie was very special to me as a youngster and more recently in later life, when we exchanged lengthy phone calls, and birthday cards. I will miss her
