Bernie was such a hard-working, organised, selfless, kind, generous and down to earth neighbour and friend. She was pivotal in maintaining the community spirit in Mt. St. Oliver and Clogherhead. Hard to believe she's gone, but she will be very much remembered as she touched so many people's lives. RIP Bernie x

We were so sad to learn of the passing of Bernie, someone we have known for a long time for various reasons. Bernie was a frequent visitor, during the summer months, to Termonfeckin in our young days and was part of the friendship of our youth during those years. That friendship continued through our inter family relationships which, from time to time, brought us together. Always remembered as a lovely person who had a smile and a friendly pleasant demeanour upon the occasions we happened to meet. We extend our most sincere sympathy to her beloved husband, Shay and son, Pearse & to the extended members of the Tormey and O'Brien Families.
