So sorry to read of the death of Barney. His name brought me back to a time when I worked part-time in "News at Ten" in Shop Street Galway fadó fadó and Barney was the tradesman there. He was always busy due to the vastness of the two-storey shop but never busy enough not to have the chat and the banter with the staff. Fond memories of working with him and the late Carol Kilbride (shop manager).
May they both rest in everlasting peace.
