Betty was and always has been one of the kindest gentlest souls I ever have had the privilege to know, not forgetting her wicked sense of humour too.

I spent almost as much time in Bettys house growing up as I did my own. While myself and Kathleen would spend endless days playing and getting up to divilment, Betty always had an extra plate for dinner for me or a bed to stay over. She always shared so much joy in our fun and adventures too and this is a lovely memory. Betty, thank you for looking after me for all those years. You couldn’t have been a better mother to my dear friends and you will be missed greatly.
